Nestled between the lush green pastures of the Western Districts and the rich red volcanic soils of the Central Highlands—and only a stone’s throw from rejuvenating mineral springs—this royal retreat is where our healthy pet reign begins.

Founded as a major gold producing city, Ballarat has hosted many a Royal since 1867. Our beloved lover of dogs, the late Queen Elizabeth II, has also visited and marvelled over our city in person. Isn’t that a deliciously fun fact! I wonder if they showed her the dog parks?
Ballarat is a culinary crown jewel, famed for its artisan producers, cafes, and restaurants. With pristine air, fresh water, and access to ethically sourced proteins, locally grown fruits and vegetables, and health-enhancing herbs, Ballarat also provides a setting fit for canine noble nourishment.

The Royal Inspiration
At Lord and Lady, we have one proclamation—LONG LIVE OUR DOGS! We bow (playfully) to the crown—the furry kind, that is.
While we love a bit of pomp, a hint of scandal, and the occasional royal wedding (for the fashion, obviously), we're not part of the establishment—unless you count the Royal Order of Cheeky Aussies Who Love Dogs. We're here for every pooch, from noble hounds to scruffy street charmers, and we take their health as seriously as the Palace takes tea time.
At our core? Seriously good, all-natural treats for dogs of every breed and background. But don’t let our fancy name fool you—Lord and Lady is proudly Aussie, proudly irreverent, and just a touch naughty. We're the kind of folks who’ll throw a garden party just to let the pups run through the croquet set. We believe life (and dog food) should be full of joy, play, and a bit of mischief.
So come, sniff around. Whether you're a sausage dog with delusions of grandeur or a kelpie with a crown complex, there's always a seat at the table—and a treat in the tin.

Our team
Each member of our team is a loving pet parent—our animals aren’t just subjects, they’re family. When founders Tim and Clare began questioning what they were feeding their loyal companion Banjo, they uncovered the ugly truth: his food was stuffed with fillers and artificial nasties, dressed up with hollow promises by big-name brands. In short, it was junk food masquerading as royalty.
So, they sought guidance from an animal nutritionist—a purist, if you will. And in this once gold rush town, they struck gold again: crafting delicious, functional treats that support pets’ health from the inside out. No ingredient makes the cut unless it plays a noble role in your pet’s wellbeing.
